Nabil Oueida
Founder
Nabil (he/him) tackles a little of everything at Ludocratic Games–from managing projects, designing mechanics, and coding. But his main goal? Keeping a positive and high-energy environment for his team. Nabil is all about collaborative game design, bringing people together through creativity and a love of play. Alongside Teja and Kito, he’s a co-director on The Box is Alive, taking on core engineering and design while managing the game’s progress. Born and raised in Lebanon, games were a welcome escape as Nabil immersed himself in RPGs, platformers, and fighting games (he’s a proud Master-ranked Zangief main). Outside of game dev, you can find him either making gains at the gym or doting on his pomeranian (we love a man who can do both).

KITO
Founder
KITO (he/him) is one of the co-directors behind The Box is Alive, responsible for its core game mechanics and level design. Always tinkering to create playful and surprising gameplay, KITO’s main objective is for players to have fun. What more could you ask from a simple, cardboard box?

Teja Bhattar
Founder
Teja (he/him) is a wearer of many hats, but primarily leads Ludocratic Games in art direction and design. He’s one of three co-directors on The Box is Alive, overseeing the game’s level design and visual flow. He loves a good roleplaying game, but can get hooked on just about any sort of media as long as there’s a great story attached. When Teja's not glued to his work or the studio, you'll instead find him glued to updates on his beloved Red Devils (GGMU).

Jhoonwon ‘Jhoon’ Kim, Marketing Director
Marketing Director
Jhoon (he/him) runs the studio’s marketing gamut from branding to socials. His day-to-day includes exploring content strategies, spearheading campaigns, and violently shaking the dev team for gameplay footage. He keeps Ludocratic Games connected to our community, building buzz for both upcoming and current projects. When Jhoon’s not plotting ways to break the algorithm, you can usually find him gaming or brainstorming the next big meme.

Dennis Kalligas
Audio Specialist
Dennis (he/him) is a dynamic audio specialist and mixing engineer known for crafting immersive soundscapes for music, movies, and games. With over two decades in the field, Dennis is an expert in delivering captivating audio experiences that enhance storytelling across all forms of media. Between audio projects and mentoring future specialists, he’s enjoying his time exploring new ways to hone his skills through 360 video production and panoramic tours.
-

Julian Randazzo
UX/UI Designer
Julian (he/him) leads UX/UI at Ludocratic Games, working across all aspects of graphics and visual design. Meaning he’s the guy who makes our game’s menus, buttons, and 2d assets look good. Julian grew up on PS2 classics like Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet & Clank, which shaped his love for game worlds and the subtle details that bring them to life. Born and raised in New York City, he now lives in Brooklyn with his beloved dogs Riley (16) and Pogi (6 months).
-

Osvaldo
3D Environment Artist
Based in Denmark, Osvaldo (he/him) is a Dominican self-taught 3D artist with a background in engineering studies and five languages under his belt. He spent 2 years red-penciling for QA Localization before eventually landing in Tech Support Animation. Osvaldo’s love of games stems from RPGs like the Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy series. “When he grows up”, Osvaldo hopes to join the big kids at Nintendo and Square Enix in creating the franchises that jumpstarted his passion for game dev.

Alisa Hassett
Animator
Alisa (she/her) is an animator that has over 5 years of experience in animation production. A self-proclaimed creator of “little guys”, she has a deep love for storytelling and making the ordinary feel extraordinary. When Alisa’s not animating, she’s busy playing D&D, admiring your local bear exhibit, and stabbing people with a giant (LARP-safe) sword. Alisa currently lives in the DC area with her husband Jake and their two beautiful children (both of whom happen to be cats).

Andrea Hatvani
Copywriter & Game Writer
Andrea (she/her) is in charge of all the wordy bits at Ludocratic Games: like game narratives, Kickstarter copy, and even the website you’re reading right now (howdy)! She’s a Northeast Ohio native who dreams of one day living somewhere that gets all four seasons. But for now she’s content going on long walks with her pup Archie, spending way too much time in character creators, and hosting epic D&D sessions through her computer screen.
